These 6 habits are taking you away from being successful and rich. Implement the change today
Everyone wants to become successful and rich but never work towards achieving this goal. It is said that a man is the “result of its habits” and these 6 habits are keeping you poor and unsuccessful
Listed below are 6 key difference of habits between rich and poor. Read on and implement the change today
Table of Contents
Television
Poor people love watching television. Once they are home from the office/business every evening, instead of using the remaining time in developing themselves they love to watch television, favourite shows or watch news most of which are biased towards a political party of the nation. On the other hand, rich people are aware it is only time which they cannot control and will always be 24 hours and hence spend in gaining knowledge by reading books. They study the industry, people and take cues for the goldmine of books, people’s experiences and how they achieved success. If you are wasting time on television, stop it for 7 days and see what endless possibilities emerge for you and make this a habit for life

Saving Mentality
Poor and unsuccessful people focus on savings and on the other hand rich people focus on investing in gaining knowledge and building assets. They will invest the money to build businesses, creating content, reading books, buying courses etc. They are good money managers and pay themselves first. Change your spending habits and focus on learning

Know it all syndrome
Poor people suffer from a syndrome called “know it all syndrome” and never open to learn and upgrade themselves. They think that school and college education is the only knowledge required and everything else they know. Whereas rich people believe that constant learning is required to stay ahead and competitive. They love to spend on gathering knowledge through courses, attending seminars, reading books, networking and meeting people they follow. For rich, the attitude is “life long learner”

Parkinson’s syndrome
Poor people suffer from this syndrome. The syndrome says as your income rises your expenses also rise and is true in the case of poor people. They do not know how to manage money and create wealth whereas rich people focus on building assets which can give them lifelong earnings and don’t shy to cut out on expenses/spending till they achieve their goals, they know once the asset is built it will give money month after month for a lifetime
Don’t suffer from this syndrome and open yourself for learning a new skill every day
Loans and Credit Cards
Poor people love to shop and spend on things not needed by taking personal loans or EMI on credit cards. They love to show off the new gadgets in town or the new iPhone they bought or the new refrigerator. On the contrary, rich people will take loans to build assets and use cards for purchase needed stuff for their business growth. For rich, the mantra is “delay in gratification”
If you are in this trap, get out of it fast
People they model and blame game
Poor people naturally gel with other poor people who don’t know anything more. Poor people love to blame other people, their family, spouse, economy, traffic, job, boss or anything for them being poor and unsuccessful. On the other hand, rich people follow other rich and successful people, take every opportunity to meet and learn from them. Rich people know that everyone has an equal opportunity to grow and change fortune and they never blame anyone for the failures they get in life. They shrug it off and set out again to reach goals. Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before he met success, Henry Ford started making cars at the age of 45, J.K.Rowling author of the famous Harry Potter series suffered rejection from 12 publishers before her book was out. There are hundreds of success stories to learn from
